Yeah right. They’re IPO’ing to keep from going bankrupt. That fleabag airline owes everyone money. Supposedly they still owe Embraer millions of dollars and they won’t even sell spare parts to Mesa anymore.

That doesn’t t even make sense in airline speak.
United pilots are negotiating with management to cancel all 175 flying with regionals. If that was the case, CPA’s with SkyWest, Republic, and Mesa would not be renewed for the 175.

In looking at the bases (ORD and DEN) these 175’s will be flying out of, I would really expect SkyWest to get them looking at where the aircraft will be based.

This isn’t a play to fly these 175’s. This is a play to fly all 175’s in the United fleet. This would include SkyWest’s, Republic’s and Mesa’s and these 25.

No one cares. Republic filed for bankruptcy. Delta sued them for not completing their contract. Republic still flies for Delta.

I would expect Mesa to be out of business next week if they can’t get spare parts.

SkyWest would have to default or sell the planes to United for united to fly them. Is that what you meant to say?

And Skywest is not in the running for those other planes even if they will be DEN/ORD. OO has to staff the planes they own or lease first.

The United pilot union proposal would be to bring all 175 flying in-house as the CPA’s expire. SkyWest would have to figure out what they are doing with the 175’s - either sell them to United or place them elsewhere.

SkyWest could easily staff the DEN flying with the pilots they have sitting on reserve there. I still think it will be Mesa, GoJet, or ExpressJet. Although it could be one of the other United Express regionals.
