Keep going around trashing your own employer and trying to stop new hires from coming in a fruitless effort to make the company need your whiny behind. Then be all like, “why won’t United give us a flow?” Cuz you won’t just shut up and do your job or find a new one, that’s why. Do something to actually make yourself attractive. Oh wait you can’t undo those DWIs and you are too entitled to go work for a degree.
Timing wasn’t on our side. We made the best of it however and we kept this place running while Skywest and our “partners” destroyed us.
I suggest you adjust your attitude if you really are on the 175 and will be flying with very senior pilots you seem to have contempt for.
If you are Subodh then I suggest you get off APC and start working harder to keep this place operating with the valuable employees you need.

Has anyone thought of the fact that if the CPP was operating at fully advertised numbers that XJT wouldn’t be able to staff the current summer flying? With United pulling the proverbial strings, it’s no wonder they have stopped the bleeding by shutting off the CPP (or making it next to impossible to qualify). They have to protect their regional feed and keep from cancelling flights. With recruiting targets lower than required/expected, it’s understandable that they don’t want to eliminate pilots from the XJT seniority list each month.
Everyone needs to take a breath and realize that this company almost ceased to exist just 6 months ago. It’s going to take time to undo all of the damage OO did by bleeding it dry for the last several years. Hopefully when the flying slows, management will realize we need to incorporate the EQO into rates, get a competitive duty rig, and up our bonus a bit. That combined with more 175s will solve the recruitment issues.

So in addition to no transparency, no accountability, no enforcement, and lying about how many move on via the CPP, we now find out they are restricting the number that are supposed to go because they can’t staff their UEX regionals.
Maybe it’s time for the bean counters and HR “experts” to admit they have failed.

To be honest, I really appreciated my time at Xjet but I'm glad to be moving on. I was hired by a LCC. I think things here can improve but, if things go according to plan, I'll be watching the improvement from the right seat of an Airbus.
From talking with pilots at places like Trans State/Gojet, it sounds like we're still less abused and this is still one of the better places to work. But it takes constant effort to stay the best.

Son if you are really a 175 new hire and you come to the cockpit with that attitude, we will have some problems. Many of us who have been here a while have degrees, no DWIs, and perfect training records.

This is literally Subodh... Stupefying that a CEO and face of one of United's wholly owned carriers would shrink to the level that he does but this activity is straight out of his playbook at Commutair and the numerous other outfits he has worked at over the years (many went under).
His MO is to act more like an oil rig foreman than a professional high upper level manager/CEO. He must be feeling the heat from United on all the poor performance and failed promises he has made.
Sadly he is way out of his league and will continue to lash out at his "colleagues" as this place continues it's downward spiral. Sad, Expressjet was once a wonderful airline. Thought great things we to come when we got out from Skywest only to have this hack.
