What else are they going to say? “We have decided that letter 2 was a waste of time and a terrible idea in the first place so now we are preparing for section 6.” The pretty much has to say they are still working on it whether true or not.

Seems like the MEC should have understood what they were dealing with before signing anything. Doesn’t bode well for future ‘agreements’.

What does ‘flexible’ mean to us?

How can we be more ‘flexible’?

Let’s examine the word of the day.
The absence of a spine always improves flexibility. I hope I’m wrong.

thats what gets me. Why they ever thought the company would come back to the table in the first place? Let’s flip the script. Company comes to MEC: “hey, we’re having trouble filling classes, we want to give you guys endeavor’s payrates, plus $5. But, as soon as we reach our hiring goals, you need to come back to us, so we can bring you back down to your current rates.”

what MEC after the goal was reached, would rush to the company to reduce the rates? If he did, he should be recalled immediately.

That’s the odd part. The company and many other United Express carriers can’t staff the flying United wants them to do. Yet they don’t seem to care. It’s as if nobody is really in charge.

Were you at Xjet at the time? Suffered under the mgmt style of SkyWest Inc? Was at a continuing shrinking airline? Seeing 146XR’s heading off to C5/TSA? Was told by SKY that if the sale didn’t happen Xjet would be wound down?

if you weren’t then you don’t know what was happening. As a pilot group we voted diem a subpar CPA. The first regional that had enough intestinal fortitude to stand up for our industry. Only to watch PSA and SkyWest vote in either concessionary/contracts that under cut other regionals.

i think United actually believes that Aviate is an attractive option for new hires.
