No they do not. The agreement clearly states SkyWest will get the next 25 dual class aircraft that is considered new flying. Fleet replacement or shuffling has nothing to do with that agreement.

I think at this point the the writing is on the wall for Mesa 175 flying for UAL. It would not surprise me at all to see all that flying go to ExpressJet.

Know one knows who will get them. Not even UA yet. That discussion will be made first of the year.. Yes OO has some agreement with UA(see link) but no one knows exactly what that is.... But I'm sure UA will put out a RFP to see who will do it the cheapest...

Not saying this is or isn't true, but we (YX) have started growing our Houston base in a way it wasn't before. By October, it will be 25% larger than it currently is.

Based on what I read on here with respect to staffing issues at EV and the flying ex-IAH that we have covered for y'all this year, I think it's certainly believable YX expects to get some of that Mesa 175 flying, too.

Time will certainly tell. I hope y'all continue your rebound. I've personally told 3 people to go to EV, so I'm doing my part!

YX will have 20 pilots there instead of 16?

I kid, I kid.

More like 25 instead of 20. 😁

In reality, we have close to 40 CA/FO’s in IAH now. That’s a 100% increase from when it opened.

It's good news for OO that they get some new flying. Should help with recruiting.

No they don’t. They get any NEW additional 76 seat flying. It’s not gonna happen.

25 first shot. 20 plus 19. That replaces Gojet, Mesa and Skywest. Math finally works.

Correct - that order has the potential to retir the remaining 700 fleet.

The only question is whether they keep 700s for Aspen (the current 19 at SKYW) or turn them into 550 and fly 550 to Aspen (at SKYW).

Are the 550’s really happening?
