How is your training department doing nowadays guys? Are all those CRJ guys done with the transition? back to normal?
Reply
CRJ transition is almost done from what I'm hearing.

Quote: What's the time frame for holding a line in ORD or IAH looking like currently?
You can get any base out of training. IAH is still pretty senior and ORD is still pretty junior. With the hiring boom going on here things are changing very rapidly.

Where did the 200's go? Back to Skywest when XJ sold?

Routes
Not trying to start rumors/panic. Places like CHS, MSY, CAE and a few other places are no longer listed on the route map on company website that were there a week ago. Is XJT losing some flying? I hope not. Was specifically looking forward to flying in to MSY ⚜️

I’m not Expressjet but I wouldn’t count on the route map for anything. Also after summer all flying is reduced across the board.

That makes sense, I appreciate the info!

Cities and routes are constantly changing. MSY, as a general rule, we don't service. It's a big market so it's all mainline and some E175. Occasionally on a weekend we'll cover a IAH-MSY turn.

But if you like Louisiana, we have several other cities there we service frequently: Monroe (sucks), Lafayette (haven't done it), Baton Rouge (did the long once, on the river but nothing special), Shreveport (the long is kinda ok, there's an outlet mall across the bridge), Alexandria (not terrible but nothing special).

I still say the best overnights are Mexico and the long Canadians.

I gotcha, understood. Check your PMs when you have a chance.

Are you guys hiring an DEC and if so what are the chances of getting the E175 if you have more than 1000 in the type?
