At this point there is absolutely zero reason for a new hire to believe he can’t upgrade at XJT as fast or faster than any other regional. The limiting factor at all regionals is 1000 hrs 121 time.
Just a side note about the 1k 121 time. Captain part 135 and 91K time count as well.

Military PIC also counts for up to 500 hours if it was multi-engine turbine.

Act like it. You know your statements are misleading. No one wants to see XJT burn. Your overall perception of being a pilot for XJT is not typical. Not even close to how the vast majority feel. Do you really think that everyone else is crazy? Or perhaps you are so in denial that you’ve become insecure about it?
We all get it. Life’s great for you and XJT is the bestest little airline in the Western Hemisphere. Your pom poms are getting dirty with all the cheering though.

For the record, I have not met a single happy pilot that works for XJT. A few fresh newhires that are all jacked up on koolaid here and there. Not even chief pilots have been expressing a positive outlook on what’s happening.
I know you just like to stir the pot but the ole CRJ vs ERJ is a lame excuse for your insecurities. That card has been overused. Your arguments (in which I’m not even sure what you are arguing) could be a little more effective if you knew who you were talking to. You often sound like the usually disconnected management type.

I knew my contract, how they could abuse and how i could use it to my advantage. I also understood that regionals are just a stepping stone, granted I was here longer then expected but I did everything I could do (Union work, training dept, etc) to get out which I did.

Wrong again. I understood that being on reserve sucks, especially as a CA. I was of the mindset that CS owned me for 6 days. Right/left seat flying who cares, reroute part of the game. Once again I have had worse jobs in my life.
