Think of the worst captains or FOs you have ever flown with.
For pilots at Envoy, those people will flow to AA. I do not really see that as a net benefit. It is actually in some cases terrifying.
Unless you are one of those people.

Only 2 posts on APC and you already have inside info on United’s plans? Why would they staple EV and not C5?
Sure seems to be a lot of recruiters hopping on here lately. Maybe we should actually improve the contract and attract more applicants.

Ask the ExTWA pilots. A good portion got stapled to the bottom of the AA pilot seniority list when they were bought. The FAs, every single one, got stapled to the bottom of the AA FA seniority list. Then every single one got furloughed.
But what has happened has happened. ExTWA folks have moved on, 18 years later.
Stapling WO RJs to the parent airline could make sense, if it happened. Not saying it should or will. Just my opinion.

These ones you mention are actually flying UNITED passengers; just not at mainline. What is the difference wether you experience terrifying at XJT or United? If flow is not the solution to too much seniority, what is?

Making it so uncomfortable for the most senior and at the top of the payroll that it’s not worth staying. Short term pain for a long term gain.
