They probably still have the really old crew room available from the first DEN base with the R2D2 air conditioner in it

I wonder if the welcome banner is still hanging in there. I'll bet some Skywest lackey vandalized it.

I do not think this is correct. Please check and let me know.

I just spoke to United Travel.

They said you can only have 2 people as travel companions
and NO Buddy passes .

You can not Register extra people.

United can have 24 passes one way every year.

Can ExpressJet get those too? They said no....

Lol, who the heck is going to be FO? Me thinks they are just putting everyone on CA pay and called a captain. Most will just fly as a reserve FO. So basically you get CA to forfeit your schedule as an FO. Well played...

It's an interesting situation, but I don't think there's anything nefarious going on here. Obviously that April 2019 person arrived on properly with some prior 121 SIC time. There were about 5-6 additional upgrades awarded to people with < 18 months on property. There are over 100 FO's on the seniority list who could have upgraded ahead of that April 2019 hire if they qualified. That's in addition to all the FO's awarded CA in this bid.

I've heard it mentioned that a lot of FO's have been here a while and were still thinking they were a long way from upgrade and had not updated their standing bids. So maybe some of that 100+ qualify but got caught with a stale system bid?

There are a lot of FO's at XJT who have no interest in upgrading. They either have side businesses or family situations that make their XJT income secondary. They love the flying, but want to keep their great schedules, can't or don't want to relocate or commute and some just don't want the added stress/responsibility of being CA. Heard it 1st hand from a few and they say there are many like them.

I counted 45 upgrades. Doesn't seem excessive considering over 400 started new hire training in 2019.

You put about 500 times more thought into your post than he did. He’s just trolling.

Ohhhhh, yes. Trolling. Did you even read my post? Hardly meant to invoke an emotional response. Which, sort of defines a troll.
