Just stop with this ‘stepping stone’ noise. Management doesn’t determine who stays or goes. That’s an individual’s decision.

True. But when you decide to make the STEPPING STONE your final destination, you should manage your expectations accordingly.

To be clear.....I agree that it sucks what’s happening there. Being stuck there took a MAJOR toll on my well-being and state of mind. That sort of uncertainty about one’s livelihood is VERY unsettling. The worst problem XJT has is that it once WAS a good enough regional to stay at for the long haul. When an airline isn’t responsible for their own destiny, which is ANY outsourced labor.....they’re at the whim of somebody else. The current management seems determined to make it bad enough to flush out the clog.

363 lines total in all bases. So 726 line holders.

There are 1404 on the seniority list. Most people are flying 18 days a month, min days off, and the complaint is that folks are flying too much.

What gives? Are 1/4 of the pilots on the list not flying or something? Of course a portion of this accounts for those in training, which has been stretching to 5 months according to the MEC letter (?!) What is the actual size of the pilot pool?

How many active pilots on the list? You realize guys out on leave are figured into those numbers. I am on employment leave and still on the seniority list

Also,

Why is the price of light crude oil prominently displayed on the home screen? Does the company think this means anything at all to any of the pilots, FAs, mechanics, admin, safety, or training people? They might as well post the cost of landing fees at Newark, or the cost of each new tire, or how much we pay the Sheraton north Houston per room.

Half of the website shows stuff that I’ve never heard of.

I asked the CP that deals with this stuff a couple of weeks ago. Approx 65 people in the pool and the last folks to receive a Hogan were 2018 hires back in November. He expressed his frustration with how UA just stopped the program with no other communications.

I think the whole CPP thing is done. We won't see anything new until the United pilots sign a new contract. The United pilots will have a lot more input as to who becomes a United pilot.
