Did all the red flag trips get picked up yesterday or did they have to cancel last minute for no crew?
THAT is what will convince Mana Air to raise pay and attract more crew. Not firey emails from the union or demands.
Once the pilot group is weighted to new hires versus 12-20 year pilots, the company can offer a retroactive raise in exchange for a benefit the lifers like. Like the healthcare.

That’s exactly right. You can’t just demand something for nothing. It’s not going to happen. Especially with the whipsaw setup. Comparing XJT to a WO is like comparing apples to oranges. Until it is proven that the whipsaw can’t provide enough pilots to cover flying the whipsaw is what we will have. And under the whipsaw it’s dog eat dog. No one is getting something for nothing. All XJT ALPA is doing with this rhetoric is proving that when consolidation does eventually force itself on United XJT will not be part of the plan. Maybe they will “staple” our seniority list to the bottom of Commutair’s.

Ah ok, so it’s the fantastic performance numbers at XJT that will convince United to keep us in the mix when consolidation happens. Oh yes thank heavens we have such a fantastic track record. It shall be our salvation!

You really are clueless how UAL operates their regionals. XJT was always the top performer for United and they reduce our pilot operation by 75%. Performance never was a concern with United. We are the lowest cost regional pilot group, that's the reason United loves us now. Expect an announcement of more 175s coming soon.

I agree though, United will announce more 175s in lieu of contract concessions. Gotta keep the new hires coming!!

I’m clueless?? Your statement proves United doesn’t give 2 cents about performance!! And I was being sarcastic! Our performance is nothing to brag about!

He/She is not worried because they have a plan if a recession hits and XJT isn't around. Yet they're on here basically begging new hires to come to XJT. LOL
