You could also respond with an explanation of how the merger is allowed in the pilot contracts or per ALPA rules. I just explore these things to a level of understanding. It isn’t to disagree.
If I was predicting, I would think the two regionals would be separated by base rather than a merger (because of the problems with merging a bunch of CommutAir one year seniority captains into Xjet’s seniority list). CommutAir just pulled a United management team member in as its new CEO.

That is one way. I never disagreed with you completely. I just see obstacles in merging the pilots.

I really am only paying attention to ExpressJet’s forum to the extent the actions of your regional affects my job. When ExpressJet stops affecting my job, you won’t find me posting here. ExpressJet pilots used to wander over to Mesa’s forums when our actions affected your jobs.
I don’t give a sh*t about AAL’s or DAL’s wholly owned regionals.
I do ask questions. For example, how in the world does ExpressJet with its seniority problems expect CommutAir with one year captains to want to merge seniority lists? ExpressJet pilots say it is going to happen.
So, guess what, if i **** you off, I might start posting here even more frequently. I could even write a script to post random messages here routinely just to **** you off more. It wouldn’t be hard.

That’s okay. I do research airline contracts, spend time in financial reports, and listen (or read transcripts) to conference calls that affect my job. These only come along quarterly (usually). It doesn’t take a lot of time. There really are only three companies I am concerned with.

Apparently, my hobby is ****ing off (or bugging) Xjet pilots on their form. I worry only about the **** I can’t control to know if I need to change to a different regional before I get my 1,000 TPIC in.

Personally, I have no problem with calmwinds. His conclusions and assumptions are sometimes wrong, but he makes an attempt to knowledgeable about the industry and I’ve never seen him rant like a child.
For the sake of everyone else, a couple of you could really tone down the complaining.
