It's arguable that OO was using EV as a means to dump toxic assets while cleaning out the companies useful assets - that is behind them now.

Still, you didn't answer the question asked: why do YX guys on this forum seem to have a desire for EV to fail when you have a 100 jet order and a seemingly golden ticket from Bedford promising it's all growth?

I don’t think anyone wants them to fail but they have been failing for a decade that’s why OO sold them to Manair for a song.

Okay, but OO owning them is a big part of why they were failing. The reason EV has had a crap decade aside. Why are several of YX guys are over here gloating about how bad EV is doing and how great YX is doing. It’s sounds like they are cheerleading for EV to go insolvent in the hopes that 25 of those new 100 airplanes finds growth. The fact is this: every major is scoped out; YX has a “letter of intent” or whatever it’s called now, for 100 planes that have nowhere to go for perceived growth.

IF YX is doing so good, why are they over here in song and dance about how bad another airline is?

EV tails where ASA’s. The trucks full of parts / tooling where ASA’s. A sim? What would OO do with a 145 sim?

Hey Melit maybe you would be further along in your career if you spent as much time working on your apps, logbooks, networking, volunteering as you did bashing XJT. It's okay the regionals will be happy to keep you.

ASA/XJT are the same thing: EV. Yes their is legacy XJT and ASA pilots, but they are the same company. Inc. took that equipment from ASA/XJT and did as they pleased with the asset. The point is that Inc. did everything they could weaken anything of value at EV in the hopes of strengthening OO. That is exactly what they did.

Now back the question you haven't answered for the third time, and it's growing quite old.

Why does YX feel the compulsion to come to EV's thread and rejoice at the shortcomings of their operation currently being restructured when life is so good at YX?
