The lines on the CRJ side were/are very unproductive. The whole CR2 operations was inefficient because of old broken planes and low utilization of pilots. Once everybody’s out of training and flying either an E175 or 145, we will be able to handle a lot more block hours. But we still have about 3 months until all that training is through.

If you listen to anecdotes, the Chicago CRJ pilots are flooded with extra flying right now. Not sure what you’re referring to.

If the plan is to add ERJs as quickly as possible I think you might find you won’t be ‘right sized’ anytime soon. Great for a new hire who wants to fly- not so great for line-holders (nor reserves) who are getting extended, and off days rolled.

No extra flying for the CRJs. But because the fleet is shrinking and a lot of pilots are gone for training, the remaining ones are indeed picking up the slack.

Trust me I know of a few CA’s that will be leaving via the CPP. They just finished their degrees, returned from MIL leave or returned from a MED Leave.

I’m 35 spots away from being called up. I’m at 1 year and 9 months. Unfortunately I don’t have the 3000 hours. I wonder if things are changing.

What’s your overall number in the CPP. I am in the 20’s (07 hire) and was out on a LOA. Final eligible for final review/CJO

I’ve heard there’s 200+ in the pool from XJT. Can someone explain what will put someone in the pool instead of a class date?
