I'll try to help you with your confusion. I'm not talking about people who didn't pass the interview or didn't pass the hogan. I'm not even talking about people who lied on their apps or committed information from their apps. There was basically a 3 step process for the CPP. The hogan, the interview, and then a final HR review that would take place approximately 2-3 months before your potential class date with United. There were clearly defined things in the CPP agreement you had to keep off your employment record to pass the final review: training failures, unexcused sick calls during specific times (holidays, vacations, training, etc), UTCs, and a few other items. There were 10-20 individuals who passed the hogan, interview, and had none of the red flags specified in the agreement that should have prevented them from passing the final review who were then turned down with no explanation. Some of those people had been waiting around in the pool for over a year. If you'd like an analogy, imagine taking a check ride that you know all of the standards and requirements for before beginning the ride. You complete every maneuver within standards and then go into the debriefing room and are informed you didn't pass the check ride. No explanation as to why. That's basically what happened to 10-20 of the applicants. It's not like it's a rumor. It's been confirmed by ALPO and possibly maybe even the XJT CPP "liaison".
Figure it out for yourself.

Shhhhhhhhhhh! He doesn't want the new hires to know they won't be getting the Hogan and that little lie of keeping their Airline Apps up to date to receive a Hogan "within weeks' is a lie.

I don't have anything to figure out. I'm just pointing out that the program isn't as it was advertised. United has constantly been moving the goal posts since its inception. Have they been sending out a lot of Hogans lately? How about to the round 2 people? My guess is probably not because they don't want those people to fail a second time and then jump off the XJT ship. It's a staffing gimmick. I can see why you love the program though! Nothing is more important to you than the staffing at XJT!

Hey Subodh! Instead of putting on an outfit like Undercover Boss he just makes up a fake persona and comes on here.
At least Bedford put on a wig and worked as an FA for a bit with Frontier.

Bet if he went undercover here he wouldn't be able to stop himself from coming out of character and saying "Just leave" to anyone over 2 yrs seniority.

Lol. I deadhead on United all the time. I'm already a 1K. If you keep undermining the the XJT MEC maybe you'll get your wish eventually and give up some more work rules. You might end up bringing me my gate checked bag after you finish your walk around if you're lucky. I don't mind waiting to be the last one!

What about how the new hires are being told they should expect the Hogan within weeks and everyone knows here for a fact that nobody has gotten a Hogan for a year plus?
Doesn't match your narrative does it?

New hires need to see nearly no one getting through the CPP and be alarmed and then look at AA wholly owned flowing near 100% except for problem children. It’s an easy choice.
UA is about to take a hit with regional staffing after they tell a bunch of people no a second time, they will walk. Too many other jobs. I assume they are just going to take more people to help keep the new blood coming in.
