Default Mass Exodus.

XJT Att yos.jpg
Chart includes 2019 people that have left only.

This Question is mainly for "Dosomeofficework".

Why are so many new hires leaving? Is it because they believed the recruiters and found out that they were not told the truth and bailed?

So that chart is saying 18 pilots got hired on with XJT in 2019 and left?

Yea, it's kinda confusing to read. There are 2 columns that are the same height but have different numbers over them.

I’m pretty sure that is attrition data. Only available for viewing in the Chief Pilot office. They used to post it on the website but quickly learned it would be leaked online. It never puts XJT in a favorable light. The years of service is at the bottom. So 19 people departed at 5 years of service. The distribution should really be a fat-tailed distribution at a normal non-top heavy regional, where people upgrade then leave. In this case, most people are leaving with only a few years of service.

To be fair, at least 10 of those could easily be people who washed out of training. I kinda expected a higher number actually..

The washout rate is much higher than this. The graph must account for non- forced resignations. Also, I would be surprised if that is up to date and there are only 18-19 who have resigned.

Is the training that hard that people are washing out that bad.

Another weak argument. That’s what, 5%? Come on man there’s a good 5% at every airline that figure out the 121 world is just not for them.

Nice try

Mass exodus, bwahahahahaha!

In the first 6 months. This chart is only through June or July. I forgot the month.
