So one thing worth noticing on the chart, the bars seem to have a cap at around 20. If this were an accurate graph those leaving after roughly 11 YOS would visually show to be twice as high than those leaving less than 1.

But accuracy has never been a priority for this Union agenda, now has it?

It’s not a union document. The company made that...

Not what I said. I was referring to the context in which it was presented. If the graph were accurate, would we be seeing it?

Look, you’re not as good at smoke at mirrors as you think you are. You’re just trying throw plausible deniability out there and that dog don’t hunt.

What’s your next angle?

I think it speaks volumes if you look at the numbers. You had 18 leave before the first year was up. You had 15 leave before the second year was up. The third year, were no one went to XJT still had 6 people leave. How many were even hired that would be in that 3 year mark?

Sorry bud, I look at numbers and percentages, not lines on a pretty graph from management. When pilots show up and find out they were not given accurate information or things are worse than posted, they leave.

And for those of you wondering, this is not a Union made graphic. The chart came straight from management.

Well here is how I see it. 5-10% left because that’s how many leave from all regionals. They may figure out the training is too demanding. They may find that life on reserve sucks worse than they thought. Whatever it is, some people figure out it’s not what they thought. This is not specific to ExpressJet.

What I do see in the numbers is the fact that of those who have left, roughly 80% were captains or were sr enough to hold captain.

All this attrition is very good for anyone looking to come to ExpressJet because it absolutely guarantees that captain upgrade times will continue to fall, likely to the point where 1000 hr upgrades happen sometime in 2020.

So I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You have a bias that causes you to see the numbers one way. I have a bias that causes me to see them much differently.

At any rate, I’m very grateful to see these numbers posted. I have wondered what they looked like myself in the past. This is very good and encouraging data to see for anyone thinking of coming to XJT.

That good ole "Subodh Spin" just like I'm used to. Much better on the third go there. Third times a charm I guess.

This guy definitely can’t be a line pilot. It just isn’t possible for a line pilot to be spewing this much management rhetoric to this extent. Is the bias you claim to have in the form of a paycheck from F & H?
