"Aviate"?

I find it interesting that the welcome packet for the interview states specifically “We strongly recommend that you do NOT use interview prep or coaching services for this interview. We have found that those who do, are less successful.”

Very interesting since during the CPP they said the opposite and very, very few who did not use it were successful.

Turn downs I know of without identifying specifics: ex-mil from various fields, management pilots, those with union jobs/volunteers, tech degrees such as engineering.
One hire was a pilot I heard from a friend who knew them well said they were on many peoples' "no fly" list.
Another had what I'd call a somewhat meek personality. Nice enough but not as assertive as you might expect a CA to be.
So frankly, they are hiring the opposite of what you might expect.
Many people think it's random, based on results.
I know a pending example who's kind if a jerk and I bet they get hired.
Flew with one pilot who seemed fine to me skills and personality wise. Turned down.

Quoted from the Aviate prep packet -
“ You may also consider seeking out coaches who offer shortcuts to success on these inventories. Our experience suggests that candidates do not benefit from this coaching”
“The interviewers want to get to know you. Candidates who come over-prepared with scripted answers are generally less successful in the panel interview. It’s also important to remember that interviewers are trained to detect stories that are provided by third-party coaches or supposed experts, so resist the temptation to rely on these sources for guidance. Your best chance of success is to be authentic and truthful!”
Read that as, just be yourself. If you need a coach, you’re not yourself.
I’ve already done the prep with emerald coast. Had I not, I probably would have steered clear prior.

Disclaimer - I had a CPP interview, not an AVIATE interview.
