Default "Aviate"?

So, it looks like the new pathway program is "Aviate". It doesn't look much different on paper than the CPP, except now you have to do a technical portion. I clicked on the apply link from their website, and it just brought me to AirlineApps.

I'll be keeping my ULCC class date. Enjoy Aviate.

Haha, I'm sure this will slow the sick calls..... It looks like lipstick on a pig but it hasn't fully rolled out yet so not casting full judgement yet.

The email sent to UA folks state this:
Hogan/Being UA
HR/Tech interview

Pass the above and you get a CJO. 2000hrs/24 months at Xjet and you go to UA. No more final review BS.

The selection board is still there and if you call in sick on a holiday, late to a flight...ect. It's the same thing as the old CPP with an extra test and technical questions. Definitely lipstick on a pig.

There is no final review. That’s where all that came into play. Yup, you do they same process of an off the street candidate but, you are guaranteed the Hogan/Being UA by working at Xjet.

We’re you expecting a flow? United has stated repeatedly they want nothing to do with a flow. There are rumors of AA change their flow parameters.

Just the whole part about “maintain good record” thing. Then there’s the “engage” thing. That’s new.

I actually think it's worse than the CPP.

"What is the selection process?
 If you meet all the eligibility requirements described above, you can apply to Aviate
via AirlineApps.com and via the United portal. Both a profile in AirlineApps.com
and United are required to be completed to continue in the selection process.
 Once your application is submitted, the United hiring team will complete an initial
screening. If selected to continue in the screening process, United will invite to you
interview at the Denver Training Center (or other location, as determined by
United).
 You will spend half a day onsite for the interview, which includes the following four
sections: 1. a panel interview consisting of behavioral-based questions; 2. a
technical interview consisting of aviation-specific topics; 3. a computer-based

Leadership Inventory and 4. a computer-based Becoming United cultural
assessment
Finally, a Board of Review will evaluate your overall application and extend an offer
to join Aviate if all screening criteria are met.
