You do not get a second chance. It says it in the stipulations.....

"Can I apply to Aviate twice at the United Express entry point?
 Because there are so many qualified applicants for the United Express entry point,
you are only eligible to apply to Aviate once while employed at any UAX partner. If
you are unsuccessful, we encourage you to apply to United via the traditional path."

This program is worse than the CPP. Big fail as DSPS suspected. Have to agree with him.

Then show your displeasure and quit. No one is holding a gun to your head to stay.

No. Not necessarily. It's probably very easy to get them pulled if they ever lose a UA contract.

You can show displeasure and leave, or you can show displeasure and stay. Either way this is very short sighted by the United HR folks.

I love when other pilots chastise other pilots for holding a negative view on something about the company that may have actual merit/validity.

I think many will leave, especially those who were in the original CPP, past the hogan and the interview but were waiting on final CJO. According to this publication they will need to apply to "Aviate" and go through those hoops as well.

That would leave a bad taste in anyone's mouth.

This is a forum. It is for all kinds of viewpoints. Why don't you let management and Subodh do all the "just leave then" talk?

I agree this seems like a way to lock people into UAX carriers for as long of a period as possible. If there are any other military guys out there I would avoid this program completely.

Another swing and a miss by United, despite supposed United pilot input. This new program will not appeal to anyone who is also looking at an AA regional with a flow program.
Nothing about United seems to change, Same old, same old.

At least the CPP gave you the option to apply off the street. Aviate does not. Change for the worse.
