This is exactly what I thought it would be. Another BS recruitment tool touting even lower min qualifications.

It actually added qualifications/steps. Old CPP had no:

-Hour Requirements
-Technical interview
-2 other computer based assessments on leadership and culture (so replacement for the Hogan)

You don't get two tries now. Just one.

I’m sure this was given as a project to their summer interns.

I think many will leave, especially those who were in the original CPP, past the hogan and the interview but were waiting on final CJO. According to this publication they will need to apply to "Aviate" and go through those hoops as well.

That would leave a bad taste in anyone's mouth.

This is a forum. It is for all kinds of viewpoints. Why don't you let management and Subodh do all the "just leave then" talk?
If you were already through the CPP (IE passed the interview) you automatically got transferred in.

Shows you what a crock this program is when even DSPS agrees that it is a “BS recruitment tool”.

The worst pilots at XJT got hired through the CPP. They made “Aviate” more of a process because the pilots hired through CPP had issues in training and flying the line.

In some cases, it’s even a counter-tool when it comes to recruitment. If someone with prior military or jet time wants to join a regional to check the 121 box, he or she will stay away from UAX carriers since Aviate basically locks them out of United for two-plus years. Even AA hires outside the flow, and they have a real flow.

This^^^^
Don’t blame UAL when your pilots ruined the initial CPP with training issues and poor attitudes.

They need to just get rid of all these stupid programs all together... you will have a better chance of just getting hired off the street at the big 3 and the amount of retirements coming the next 5yrs will mean if you have your app in at any airline you will get an interview off the street... it really is pointless now to have these, it just makes things worse and takes longer to get where you want to be.
