HMM disagree not saying XJT has such a high failure rate...maybe they do. But why take a chance with a regional terminating you...does not make sense to me. I have watched lots of hard working dedicated CFIs, Mil pilots get terminated. Sure you may get through but would rather be well prepared...if you have not worked with TCAS, APU, and call outs, flows, etc for the first time...why not be well prepared. I have spoke with a FO at another carrier the other day no one make it through from one class. Anyway my opinion I will not take the chance...good day!!!
Where did you see this? At XJT or somewhere else? I can assure you a hard working dedicated anyone who is actually a good pilot would not be fired at XJT.

"why take a chance with a regional terminating you" Where are you flying? There is ALWAYS a chance of termination in flying, unless you know something I don't

If you’ve failed out of two 121 courses on the same airframe I think some inward reflection is more important than outward blaming. And I certainly wouldn’t rule Mesa out, others might not want to take the risk on you (certainly hope you recognize you now represent a risk), turning your nose up at Mesa might not be the wisest career move. Plenty of good pilots have hit bumps and found their options limited, pulled up their bootstraps and gone to Mesa, and have had career success after applying themselves.

Even so, he has a point. Your options of airlines who are willing to bet on you after not staying with two carriers past training is going to be small. At this point, I don’t believe you can be picky.
