Training pass rate?

Transitioned from flying GA to the 175 without a hitch. Still learning everyday and studying but it really is not hard if you apply yourself. I think you have posted some false/made-up numbers up there. I do not recommend taking this advice, you can learn the flows in training. Everyone in my group did, everyone passed. People who cannot memorize flows aren't struggling because they came from GA, they are struggling because they are lazy.
Agree 100%. There are those that can’t cut it because they are lazy. There are also those who can’t cut it because they aren’t that great at flying. Studying ground school stuff ahead of time doesn’t help in either scenario. This may not be true at some places, but at XJT if you can make it you will.

HMM disagree not saying XJT has such a high failure rate...maybe they do. But why take a chance with a regional terminating you...does not make sense to me. I have watched lots of hard working dedicated CFIs, Mil pilots get terminated. Sure you may get through but would rather be well prepared...if you have not worked with TCAS, APU, and call outs, flows, etc for the first time...why not be well prepared. I have spoke with a FO at another carrier the other day no one make it through from one class. Anyway my opinion I will not take the chance...good day!!!

Don’t take any risk, thereby guaranteeing no progression? That’s a loser mentality.
Between the new “kinder and gentler” training style and XJT’s excellent instruction.....anybody who is even remotely capable and willing to work will do just fine.
Preparing beforehand is foolish, because you are likely to prepare for the wrong stuff. You don’t know yet what you don’t know. Show up ready to go, and you will do fine.

Mil pilots terminated from a regional airline? Don’t believe a word this guy says. XJT Training was by far easier than any military flight training I have ever done.
But then again I know proper grammar, so that probably makes studying easier...

I can see how some rotor transitions may have trouble but that’s the exception.
I don’t get this guys point. What is his recommendation to do instead, get king air or other suitable time first before going CFI to jet? If so, some slower people may really need that. Many don’t and can make it just fine.

I guess I am a little over nervous because of my bad experience with GoJet. I always thought I was reasonably smart and could fly well, but I felt a little defeated after leaving there.

No thanks.. But I am trying to figure out what my next move is. I've had a rough start and I am trying to make sure my next move is the right move. It could very well be my last chance to make things right.
