I could see that happening, but only because United owns 49% of ExpressJet and 40% of CommutAir. But apparently there is some HUGE news coming. So who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ All rumor until it happens

As you guys are familiar with, companies don’t merge or get purchased during labor negotiations, like xjt before purchased by mana. C5 and union in middle negotiations right now, which this month they are meeting like half the month (a lot). FAs just agreed. The company has seem real motived to get a deal done... which draws me, personally, to this conclusion that they want to merge us (and also to attract more pilots and retain). Why have two ceos and redundant staff? Both companies with sims in Houston. Not cost efficient. United personally chose the new C5 ceo. C5 fat on FOs, short on Captains and LCA. C5 working hard on bringing aqp. XJT has pieces C5 needs, vice versa.

Also, it seems real suspicious what is going on with trans states. They are cancelling classes. United has only rewarded new flying to companies willing to finance new aircraft on they own. All the united owned aircraft seem to find they way to c5 and xjt.

My two cents is it’s going to happen. Just makes sense. But. we shall see.

There will be an outright riot at XJT if they do a percentage based seniority list merger. Where a 3 year C5 CA percentage wise may be equivalent to a 16 year XJT CA. I'm just theorizing, but it won't go over well at XJT if that is the case. It should be based on DOH.

I can't remember, wasn't XJT purchased by ASA with SKW's money during labor negotiations? I believe LOA 9's provisions were done at that point.

The first thing you have you understand United doesn't know what the hell they are doing when its comes to United Express.

UAX is the biggest cluster suck I've ever seen. I don't blame the UAX pilots or the companies I blame United.

If you take a slice of cheese and merge it to a beef patty, it enhances everything for the better.
