United carriers are going to struggle to get through this. As the planes move the staffing will lag behind and any pilot that can move out of the regionals will take that opportunity while in flux. This will hopefully lead to an overall pay raise for all the regionals as they compete for all of the pilots that will become unattached.

Not like Comair. There had been bad blood between Delta and Comair since the strike.

There’s a big carrot coming. I don’t think UAX carriers, specifically XJT, are going to have any issue staffing when this all plays out.

I think Endeavor will be ok. So basically what you are saying is the exclusive United carriers are in trouble. Surely United is figuring this out and will take steps to correct the problem.

Endeavor already when though this same mess. Except it was called Pinnacle/Mesaba/Colgan at one point which had 3,000+ pilots.

I have no idea what United is thinking. C5 is increasing block hours n drastically increasing IAD operations while maintaining same hours at ewr per the company conference call today. They are also redoing our interiors of our 145s like xjt.

How? C5 is short of captains too.

who knows. That’s what we asked. They have a lot of upgrades coming this year per the company (if they stay) along with the DEC. but. We are scratching our heads.
