Poor thing.

c’mon man. I never said anything to a mod. If you think I get worked up over the Internet you need an evaluation. Go ahead and make a meme..This is just entertainment since I don’t do Facebook!

As I said, it’s not a big deal TO ME. I didn’t come to fly the 175. Perhaps you left to fly it? Then got you feelbads hurt when it showed up here? Either way I am happy at XJT and if anything this may work to my advantage if it spurs the company to the negotiating table. Rumors are there are negotiations happening now.

facts... flew a Union guy to to DC on the first flight. Was yapping the whole way about all of this

No clue, only time will tell. Management has only asked for concessions up until now. My only guess is they’ll ask for PBS or something else in return. No way it’s all gives from the company.

I kinda recall that union guy saying pbs isn’t coming due to the IT situation but they have moved from just letter 2 talks to money and pilots keeping their seniority from other ux carriers. Something like that. Also worth noting is that he was speaking of being a training center supplier for the industry.

Keeping longevity seems to be industry standard. Seniority would be different. Think the TSA guys would be given standard seniority numbers by date of hire at XJT.

Can you explain the last sentence more?

Not based on the fact the “Revenge of the Sit” thread is gone and based on the comments from the Compass guys.

You’re a boring troll.

They better not keep their seniority. This isn’t a merger. Longevity is fine.

Agreed. Them keeping seniority only benefits the company and not our pilot group. Our Union should be fighting this tooth and nail. Us giving them seniority can’t even be in a contract can it? I’ve never heard of anything like that at all. Just because big daddy United asks us to do it doesn’t mean our MEC should just roll over.

Are you referring to the MEC’s email on 2/24?

It didn’t say anything about TSA pilots retaining seniority. All that was said was

“For this reason, we also developed a plan to accommodate the pilots from the airline impacted by this announcement. We will announce that plan after we've had a chance to address the pilot leaders at that airline.”

They can keep their longevity and position on the pay scale, they can even have the first chance for DEN. But to merge them into the seniority list? Absolutely not. They are placed on the list the day they start INDOC with that date of hire.

That would start a recall vote on the MEC if they were placed on the list above any current XJT pilot.

This isn’t a merger
