Apparently there is a new-and-improved version coming out!
I'm not too sure many people will really do it since I hear plenty of people go straight from Cape Air to JetBlue, but I'm all for getting more warm bodies on the list here at EV.

Lets see...Get paid sh*t to fly a piston twin, get paid sh*t to fly an RJ at a stagnant regional, all so you can get the chance to get paid sh*t to fly an A320 or E-190. SIGN ME UP.

Why do they pay significantly less than Delta and United and the other legacies? They're flying the same size equipment; why aren't they paid the same? Please, rationalize why those places shouldn't be getting paid the same as the legacies. Sure, places like Spirit, Allegiant, JetBlue, Atlas and VA are INFINITELY better than any regional, but seriously - Isn't that somewhat of a problem when we're flying A320s, E190s, MD80s, 747s, 737s, 75s/6s and 777s for a discount? Is that not a bigger problem than low regional pay?
As for Cape Air I guess I'll go there if things don't work out at XJT. After 14 years on the C402 I can make 25 dollars an hour!

No but Cape's SIC program and pay isn't so hot. You'd be better off instructing until you hit your 1500TT then just head off to whatever regional you want. In the long run you'd make a lot more money that way. I think the SIC's make 9-10 a duty hour so that's what $400 a week roughly. If you're smart about it you can make a decent buck instructing and there is quite a few job openings paying twice that.
