The first sentence you say that he is not considering the market and the next you say that the market can sustain a better contract. If you know the market can support a better contract, why should we vote yes for this?

I never said which way to vote. Just simply pointing out what I believe to be an important factor (if not the most) that most people seem to be overlooking on here. Maybe an assumption on my part, but the claims by some they'd rather see the company fold than make a single concession seemed rather clear to me. Just throwing in my two cents like the rest of you...

Bustin you just said that the market can take a better contract so then why should we even take a single concession? By the way, are you L-ASA or L-XJT?

I don't disagree with you but can you support that with data? I'm not familiar with Skywest rules but it seems, all things considered, they're better compensated than ExpressJet and are able to turn a profit. But then almost every other regional appears to contradict that. What's the difference?

I'm no expert. I don't actually know what kind of contract it can support. My guess is the current TA could be improved and the company is banking on it not passing the first try. Given the regional industry is going backwards though and our (L-ASA) last contract was in a boom it seems some concessions are unavoidable. But don't look to me for the answers, I'm still fishing for info (not here of course).

This TA will keep us more expensive than Skywest pilots.

Am I wrong, but didn't the union email mention that if it is voted down it then goes to mediation? I see no way that we would gain anything if that is the case.

Guys, Please vote this garbage down. The longer you delay this new contract the better. After the first of the year you will have more leverage against the company and management obviously knows this.

Why pad the pockets of the pencil pushers when your out doing the work?
