Everyone is having trouble staffing so you are getting in at a good time!

8 Year Guys? XJT still has guys hired in 2007 that can't upgrade. 2017-2007 does not equal 8.

Not sure what CA's leaving would have to do with FO's in IAH either.

Seriously? People are still going to XJT? Does no one do any research?

As I recall those 2007 hires were out for 2 years on furlough. 10-2=8.

Since you no longer work here and are obviously a very bitter former XJT guy I think you really need to stick to trying to fix the problems at Commutair.

Anyone still at XJT should be bitter.. what a water trash airline Skywest and the two unions have turned that place into.

The only thing that I am bitter about are people that make up their own numbers and Lie just to protect themselves. Try telling the truth and you will not see me respond to your messages.

When people talk about upgrades, they do not change the years to make things look better just because they want to. That is misleading. Currently, the most JR CA at XJT was hired in 2007. That is not an 8 year upgrade.

XJT was a great airline before Skypest took it over. It now sucks due to planes being parked every other week. Closing bases over the last few years (half of them to be exact) and recruiters that fail to tell the whole truth about compensation.

As far as Commutair, they have turned the boat right side up again and we are running a completion factor in the high 90's and the training issues have been mostly fixed. How is the management at XJT doing on turning things around, besides a new mission statement thing?

Really? Show me where I lied? 10-2=8. Guess you use common core math.

So I guess the years 2009 and 2010 never took place? There was a time transport vehicle for the 347 that were furloughed and they just leaped right from 2008 to 2010? You are very good at not telling the whole truth.

If you want to tell me that the upgrade time will drop from 10 years to 8 years if and when they upgrade the last "U" employee, I might buy that, but that is not what you are saying. How many more guys are there that still have to upgrade before that happens? How many upgrades have occurred the last 6 months? Help people make an informed decision about working for XJT. I bet you can't and won't do it.

Hou757 03-16-2017 11:25 AM

Hey, I feel horrible for those that were out on furlough. However, their adjusted hire dates at the company say they have been on property for 8 years. Not fudging any math here. I don't deny upgrade is way too long here but that number will drop fairly soon. (in my opinion) No one knows the "final" number of aircraft that we will wind up with. It seems to be as many as we can staff. Lots of fluid numbers going around right now. Is this the perfect regional? No. But its also not a bad place to be to get the hours and move on.
