Thanks, gents.

Yeah it'll all be a guess for the next couple weeks until the vacancy results are in. My guess is senior ca and junior fo but we'll have to see.

Soooooo, XJT is transferring aircraft to TSA and Commutair, shrinking to 101 on the 145 side, and now United has signed a 5 year deal for 65 aircraft (200s no less)? Perhaps United will continue to sign CPAs with XJT?

Im guessing ZW's 200's are paid off. They probably came in way cheaper then XJT... your "assuming" SkyWest management wants to sign a cpa for the E145's... seems less likely now...

United is on the hook for lease payments on the 145s. But I'm not sure when the leases end other than the last lease ends 2021. Theoretically, Skywest can sign a profitable cpa with another mainline carrier as well.

Im sure they could.. If UA owns the lease then i doubt you would see a large chuck going to another airline.. they even poked fun about AA lossing all its lift to them... doubt they would want the opposite... most the "long lease" (left) planes seem to have landed at another airline already...

Yeah, all the long leases may already be gone or on the way out, the XRs. Supposedly, Inc is trying to get a deal to back fill for AA the lift AWAC provides for them.

With what aircraft ASA delta 200's? XJT E145's?, SkyWest 200's...???.. Im guess every airline is running to AA saying "pick me, pick me"....

What does the crystal ball say? Hmmmm.

1. I have not seen an actual statement in the SKYW INC 10K that the ERJs HAVE been extended to the end of 2018. Only that UAL MAY do
2 - 1 year extensions. I would think that there is a 12 month notification clause in the CPA that UAL must give to XJT, prior to the end of 2017, if they do not plan to exercise the extension clause. So could it be that XJT didn't get an extension but only a 12 month notification clause that will begin at the end of 2017?

2. AA going back to XJT for ERJs? Why. SKYW INC has approx 40 UAL 700s coming off line, UAL didn't want to extend them, and they need to find new homes so as they can pay the lease payments. That's what was done on the DAL flying in DTW. The report I heard was that the reason AA removed XE from flying was due to the XE mechs required that they do all mtc. AA wanted to keep the C and D checks in house. Mechs said no so bye bye.

IMO...AA upgraded the ASA CRJ flying from 200s to 700 in Dallas and in LA for SKYW. I would bet that they continue the dual class upgrading since AW is gone. 200s for 700s.

Presumably, with the 145s UAL doesn't want. There were originally 244 of them. Two of them were sold, and the ones left doing UAX flying are the 36 that went to TSA, 40 that will eventually be at CMT, and 101 at XJT. That leaves exactly 65 of them with nothing to do. Which coincidentally is the same number of 200s that AWAC has flying for AA. So there will be a lot of them laying around. But I'm not holding my breadth.
