737s

Would even more love to see just one Retro Jet around here. I'm thinking a 757 would look pretty good in the original Federal Express Colors.

We flew the -200. The -400 was the planned 727 replacement. Now the planned 757 replacement is the 737-800/900.
I've heard they are looking at the A320/321 Freighter as well. (The Airbus is interesting from what I've read as it does allow for cargo containers to loaded in the belly as opposed to bulk loaded.) Seems that the 737 rumor has the most traction. Hear it often from various sources.
I've also heard there is interest in a 777-300 Freighter.

Both the 737-800BCF and AEI conversion holds 11 standard AAY/A2N containers on the main deck, along with a single AKE/LD3 all the way aft.
There currently is no UberGuppy (ie. 900) freighter, but of course all it would cost is money.

The 320 P2F has the same 11 full size/1 half size main deck positions as the 737-800 freighter...but also can hold 7 LD3-45 containers in the lower deck.
The A321 P2F has 13 full size/1 half size main deck positions, and holds 10 LD3-45s in the lower deck.
