In Spirit's case it was the pilots no longer flying Open Time assignments at the same frequency that they did previously (A change of the Status Quo).
Posts on APC were also used frequently during the court hearing.

Contacting other pilots, or naming names, can get you fired or forced into retirement.
It's not the SCAB clicker era anymore. Now it's creating a hostile work environment and I don't think there's a Union that can save you from a complaint submitted to management.
The best protection should FedEx come looking for hostages is a long history of not working extra. In general, if I get bumped for training I might look for something to fill that gap. But I'd rather go to the hotel in Memphis than suck up a 2 or 3 leg night.
