I’ve only gone through MEM once and I don’t recall where this was. Can you PM me? Or can I just ask the desk personnel when I get there?

They are given to crews as a snack on the plane. Someone probably just had a couple they weren’t going to eat and gave them to the jumpseater. It’s not something that I think is given out normally.

JS has a couple vending machines.

You could ask someone who has access to go to the cafeteria and purchase you something and give them cash. It’s the usual cafeteria food. Burgers, dogs, chicken sandwiches and French fries. Depending on time of day there is a sandwich station and a salad bar.

I figure this isn't SSI if it's online:

Is that still accurate for an A300? Those don't look like they'll recline. Can you put 3 of them down and lay across? The other option is a 767 and that I'm familiar with the large flight deck with 3 seats along the back wall. Do either of these have potable water/ability for coffee?

Coffee comes from a jug. Although I fill a thermos mug before I go to the airplane. Yes the bus seats recline as much as the 76 seats, and you dont have to stand up when the captain wants to pee. The bus jumpseat is vastly more popular than the 76 jumpseat amongst FDX Pilots.

Accurate..Mostly.. They don’t recline but they extend out with a footrest that extends out of the bottom. Yes you can lay them all down and “sleep”. Also cushions and headrests are velcro attached to seats so you can remove and lay them on floor. Or use as a “pillow”. No potable water. Most Crews wouldn’t mind you taking water from cooler or sharing the coffee mug. Just ask first for the limited items like sodas and such. Welcome aboard!

Thanks! It’ll be tomorrow night. Still debating whether to go through MEM via MD11+A300 or through IND via 767 x2

Bus has best jump seats. Easy decision.

Ind hands down. Much quieter, and you will likely be the only customer both legs. And like I said if you have a thermos cup you can easily fill it up in INDY. Memphis, not so much.
