Same with annual limits. Why do you expect FedEx to ignore potential scenarios that may result in you having to make a phone call to skeds telling them you've timed out?
I’ve never flown more than 350hrs a year at FedEX. And if the company want my 100hrs a year, they can either pay me a 100hrs monthly guarantee and/or they can allow us pick up OT all the way to FAA limits

Please stop chiming in as if you’re a Fedex pilot. You are not and it’s painfully obvious to the rest of us. “Pick up OT to FAA limits”?! Wtf are you even talking about? I presume you’re trying to make some remark on MU banks but you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about, per usual. Nothing about picking up OT at FDX has anything to do with going to FAR flight hour limits. I won’t bother to clarify for you. If you ever come to work here it will become nice and clear for you then.

Seems short sided to take a contract job paying 2k or less per day and risking a career at FedEx.

Guess it depends how long a pilot was gone. I know someone who was not welcomed with open arms. Once you leave the company losses control over how long. And mgt hates that. Dexter was very hypocritical on what USERA law stated vs what he wanted it to be.

MLA when mgt wants it is OK.
MLA when pilot need it, it's time to harass them.

SMFH, I’m very much familiar with our contract as it pertains to picking up OT. MU is completely different than picking up OT. As of right now we can pick up no more that 6hrs of OT per month except if you have MU time.
My point is one should be allowed to fly to FAR limits if one chooses to do so.

Oh, so you’re a Fedex pilot? My bad. Go ahead and PM me your employee number and I’ll look you up in VIPS and send you a text. Or if you prefer I can PM you mine and you can contact me. Why do I feel like you’re gonna balk at this?

Wait, you complain that guys are flying until age 65. Now you say that you should be able to fly to FAR limits. So, should a pilot be able to work as much and as long as they want, or is it only what is best for you right now?

I see a lot of guys sucking up extra flying like it is candy. Surprisingly, the guys who work 20+ days a month seem to be the newer guys who are going to fix our contract. Yeah, that's what we need, for the company to be able to work us more.

Read my post carefully, I said if the company doesn’t want us to fly on the side which should be our choice, then they should allow it. And yes one should be allowed to pickup up as much OT as they want. I have hundreds of hours of MU and I don’t use it. I enjoy QOL

I never heard a thing from them during 4A2b. I agree, they were encouraging military leave.
