It's looking like there may be newhires training in a WB when I'll have been awarded a WB slot (assuming it's next month). What again are the contractual requirements to get Passover/training denial/whatever pay?

You will be getting his pay as soon as he finishes IOE. He is on first year pay though so save up.

If you were awarded a WB seat that a new hire activates into, then you get WB pay as well. It’s 24.F.7. New hire junior activation pay.

If you already receive WB pay, and have a lateral seat award but are denied training for new hire training. Then you receive a Slot Denial Payment each month

Can you get NHJAC and SDP at the same time? I don’t see anything prohibiting it but just want to make sure I’m not missing something in the slim chance it comes up.

New hire in the 757 and definitely eligible for NJAP in about a month or so when guys start activating on the 767. Planning to bid up to a WB when the system bid comes out.

Sarcasm aside, are you referring to 24.F.7.a?

If a senior pilot is on year 2 narrowbody pay, with a WB awarded on this Sep. Bid, he is SOL since the junior pilot is on a lowly first year pay? The way I read it it sounds like the senior pilot gets year 2 WB pay, but I could see it being confusing.

Skytrucker,
Don’t know the answer to your question,
The folks I know who were receiving this went in two directions, upgrade as fast as possible or put it off as long as possible to enjoy their seat seniority.

Think the majority of the SDP payments have been lateral, and I’d be willing to bet most of those were WB FO to 777FO

When the next system bid happens, will be interesting to see if there truly is a shift away from the 777, but I wouldn’t bet on that happening

The chances are really slim...it was just a question that popped onto my head as I was reading the string. Did a little research on it and didn’t see anything that jumped out to me so I figured I would throw it out here.

Thanks for the reply!

Outsider popping in with a quick question. Could someone please share a list of domiciles by FO seniority and fleet types at said base? (i.e. junior FO base & fleet to senior FO base & fleet). Thanks in advance.
