I think we all agree we need to improve retirement. Do you know what that means to your Block Reps? All 3 of them? Do they know what you mean when YOU say it? If they are speaking for you, wouldn't you consider it prudent to understand what they're supporting or opposing?

A 1% bump to the "B" Plan would be "increased retirement," right? Is that what you're expecting? Would that satisfy you?

Rather than waste years of negotiations and wind up with no increased retirement, like we did in 2015, or a barely increased retirement, which might fit the letter but not the intent of "increased retirement," don't you think it would be good for the membership and the leadership to be on the same path, reaching for the same goals, so we can confidently say "My Negotiating Committee Speaks For Me" and really mean it?

I found out about issues with the SLG that we fixed in contract 2015. I give credit when credit is due and many things got fixed in contract 2015. I also have numerous people to talk to who gave me information on stuff like conversion lines and inadequate pieces of the previous secondary line system. Its easy to throw stones from the sidelines while collecting all the draft you can stomach. I wont partake in that stone throwing type of behavior. I will give my input through the proper channels and support the group willing to step up and do the work (union volunteers).

What was that you were saying about not throwing stones?

Insightful 3rd post.

I propose we turn up the volume and make them hear us.

My curiosity (what were the other 2 posts?) led me to this thread: Retirement Website

Wow, Noworkallplay, you really made a certain equine of yourself.

Being ignorant is not a big deal if you're willing to learn. Information is the cure.

Unfortunately, there's no cure for willful ignorance.

For someone who is so concerned about protecting your identity, you're awful apt to insult fellow pilots. Everybody knows who I am, so I have to take responsibility for every word I say. Maybe it's time for you to grow up a little and take responsibility for what you say. Shoot me a PM with your Employee number and I'll shoot you an e-mail to verify.

Or be a coward. Your choice.
