Agree with the above. What’s with all the PROF trips in the 77 ?? There are a lot. Are those guys trying to clear to do draft? Seems like if they need a schedule adjustment there’s more than enough in there to swap at straight pay. I wish there were a way to not have to see all the PROF offers.

They won't let you trip trade anything. Good luck trying. There have even been complaints about not being allowed to trade over the same footprint on FB.

Some might be trying to clear their schedule, some might be trying to get a certain day off. I don't know.

If you clear your schedule and pick up a draft trip for the same number of hours, is that considered a problem? Some say yes, some say no.

Is the union failing to inform the membership about the details of the retirement plan they are trying to negotiate a problem? I say yes, others say no.

Everyone gets an opinion. Not all of them are necessarily correct. Some are, some aren't. Only you can decide.

PROF is about the only way to adjust your schedule these days...the system won’t let you drop anything and a trip trade has to go through the drop approval first before it goes through the pick up approval...

My bad then. I didn’t know it processed that way. Thanks for the info.

Did you know that there is a provision in the contract for trading with open time that basically says if the trip you want starts on the same day and in the same R period as the trip you want off of and the new trip pays the same or more, scheduling can not deny the trade because of staffing.

Yes, many are doing just that. It is very prevalent in that fleet. Buds not doing draft/AVA in that fleet are getting POed. They are tired of flying with people doing draft. Not all but A LOT.

And when negotiations take 3 years because we resolve all the companies problems with draft/AVA you will once again get your answer.

Isn’t the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Just like last contract only a small group in a certain domicile unified together and the rest just cannibalize each other.

You get it! Many are only worried about themselves short term.

Sort delays and the potential for deice are enough for me to not want to come to work on my days off.

Use Fxcal and you can filter trips to not see Proffered trips.
