Open 'er back up! I'll wait!
#SCOPE #ZERO, NADA, ZIP CONCESSIONS #QOL #FUUUUUPM, for all the billions of stock buybacks, wet-lease payment screwjob, flying into places no other carriers were going, unlimited trip revisions, seniority abrogation, years of hotel room isolation, sprayed with unknown chemicals, poked/prodded in the nose and throat by our Chinese buddies, personally paying for company scheduled travel expenses, and the list go on..... |

The fact that the company so readily talks about their plans for third party lift makes me think there was a large give back on scope. I sincerely hope I’m wrong.

Couple of things:
As of today at Delta these planes at 12 years of service make more than a FedEx Widebody at 15 years of service. ($335) A350 787 A330 767 757 A321N MTOW 197,000 lbs 737-800 MTOW 155,000 lbs A320 MTOW 170,000 lbs Also, a different perspective on potential top of the payscale number using our smallest jet… This is to rebut the “we aren’t going to get deltas widebody top pay because they have so few pilots that fly those” argument. Our smallest plane is obviously the 757. If we use Deltas new max number for them ($349.50) to set the entire payscale and apply that to our current narrow to widebody ratio in our payscale ($289 for narrow and $335 for wide) 289/335 = 349.5/X Our wide bodies would need to make $405.13. Delta has set the market for 757 pilots. If we agree with them then we pay ours $349.50 and our widebodies $405.13 using the same ratio we currently employ in our payscale. The top widebody number better be $405.13 or better. End of story |

If they create different retirement plans for different parts of the pilot group I’m out. There’s no way you can recover from that. All unity would be lost at that point.
Personally, I want my 1999 A plan adjusted for present day $$$ and with a COLA going forward to end this constant negotiation struggle going forward. Fix the damn plan once and for all. We've earned it and they CAN afford it! |

405 is absolutely too low, and is well below the floor. |
