Damn, this is worse than I thought. I'm too old and been here too long now, but if you are in the bottom 1000-1500 or under the age of 40, maybe even 45, you seriously need to look at other options. Only caveat is this being the biggest grenade of a distraction in negotiations that I remember here. Keep the eyes on the prize. Tough.

It’s hard to take any system bid here serious. Nothing gets trained out and usually gets cancelled and manipulated. Isn’t that the definition of a Ponzi scheme?

Hold fast gents its all gonna be ok and this summer is gonna crush some doomsday economists egos.

Not to sure about your outlook. Have you been to NRT or KIX lately? We have 9 WB's on the ramp compared to 2 for our main competition. Both gateways. So do we really need flights to CDG, MEM, ANC, OAK, SIN, CAN, ICN, etc? I foresee many flights consoladated.

I’m with you on that, I won’t be surprised if we start hiring before peak.

Actually, it says " This bid ASSUMES that we will not hire any pilots through FY24". Going to depend on how many guys bail when the contract is settled or when the 30 year MD CPTs in Ca. decide they aren't coming back to MEM.. !

I don't know many people who retire willingly in an economic downturn because of a contract. I am just spitballing here but the number most likely will be a lot lower than what bounces off the walls of AOC.

FedEx announced a further 30% reduction in Pacific flying at the DRIVE event. Consolidation has already stated.

A 30% reduction from Covid highs. 30% less than 130% is 100% correct?

No. They’re reducing Pacific by 30% of todays flying which isn’t COVID flying.

If it is from Covid why are there less 77F MEM slots on this bid than on 20-02 no work?
