I am not trying to beat you up. But haven't you been paying attention? Why do you think new airplanes are coming? Do you understand the DRIVE initiative and Network 2.0? Our airline isn't going to be the main mode of shipment for FedEx packages. Freight will ONLY move via FedEx branded airplanes when it makes sense to do so. Management has said they don't forecast any new airplane capital spending for the foreseeable future.

With that said, I don't blame anyone bailing off the bottom, as they should protect their career. FedEx does not care about you. PSP is gone. We might be witnessing 4-5 years of stagnation with the only seat movement being retirements.

Over 100 have left the company? Yeah right! If it’s on APC then it must be true.

Lol. Not even close to that number.

Correct. It was TWO (2) from Jan-Mar. But let's not let actual facts stand in the way of APC. I hope more leave. Maybe management (PD) will wake up and realize their fantasy viewpoint that FedEx is still the destination stop everyone wants for an aviation career is serious flawed. FUPM!!

Because its a cyclical business, think pilots at the legacies during covid were saying passengers will never come back? Ask me how I know…….. boxes will come back too. It’s a cyclical business. You really think FedEx is going to go from the worlds biggest cargo airline to shrink to success. Doubt it. They’ll order airplanes like they always have.

The doubter deleted his post before I could respond. ALPA gets the numbers monthly. Ask your rep - it's not a secret. I asked mine at the PUB event in MEM in April. They had Jan-Mar numbers at that time and it was two. Waiting on Apr numbers but they weren't available for the discussion. That's on the property and bailing. Not anecdotal stories about those who didn't take the CJO or didn't show for BI. These are pilots on our seniority list who opted to leave and resign.

Their number was wrong. It was more, or they were misinformed at the time you asked them.

I don’t get it PurpleToolBox. On one thread you’re calling us fools for attempting to change our scope policy. In this thread you’re telling new guys to bail because that lack of scope has allowed the brass to shrink the airline. Improving our scope protections keeps us all in a job. Even if you’re a senior leader on the tool box, fewer flights means poorer quality and paying lines. Even for you guys at the top.

No offense, but I'll take your info with a grain of salt unless you have more details on the source of your info. What's your number? I'm inclined to take my information from valid sources like the MEC and my rep than an anonymous person on APC. If you have accurate details, I'll listen but in the end, APC isn't my first stop for facts. If it was 5, 7 or 10 when the dust settled, that's still not 100. For now, I'll stick with the number my trusted source offered and follow up with them for any corrections.
