This is laughable. It took a strike vote to give the NC leverage? I guess all that draft you got was worth it until the draft dried up. And a 99% strike vote approval means nothing if guys aren't actually willing to not cross the picket line. I have zero faith in a strike if it gets to that point after all the greed thats been shown by the extra flying the last two years.

And how about some faith in the MEC and NC instead of just expecting some turd? I guess nothing would satisfy you.

I fully understand we band our pay rates differently so one airplane may be above anyone else and one may be slightly below. A banded pay scale comparison chart can answer how our pay rates stack up IN TOTAL.
I’m not a single issue voter, thanks for asking.

I’ll be looking at what we gained and what we gave up

I’ll repost my earlier question so you can respond. You’re clearly back posting today

Once again, thanks again for sharing what your sources tell you

You're a real moron Stan. I guess it's just a coincidence that the company started to move in our direction and a TA was reached less than 2 weeks after the strike authorization vote? Same thing at Delta Air Lines ? Just a coincidence. Those silly little strike votes create no leverage at all. Go read a book about negotiations.

You need to work on your reading comprehension too. Nowhere did I say I was expecting a turd. I said let's hope we don't get one and waste the leverage we had.

As for draft, I'll give you the same offer I gave NoWork. I've flown zero draft and usually drop half my schedule. I have a side gig. So being a mighty FedEx pilot isn't my entire life existence like it is for some of you clowns.

Ok let all the reasonable I trust the NC folks come out here and tell us why this contract is good. I've spent the last couple hours doing a cursory overview and OLDnotYOUNG EMMERSONBIGS ONCEWASGOOD time to put up. You ran your mouths now its time to explain to the class why your position was the right one.

Negotiation goals were
Pay
Retirement
QOL

Their Summary of Changes has Retirement first Pay 2nd and QOL last. If you think that wasn't on purpose you're delusional

Great way to build unity with your fellow Fedex brothers.

You should consider running for office.

Brothers and sisters. Don't be so sexist. I guess you missed the part where I said I have a side gig. Maybe I will run for office though. Looks like there will be plenty of openings once this turd gets voted down. Do you know what's another great way to build unity? Having a different retirement plan for different groups of pilots. That'll work real well in the ensuing years of negotiations.

FACTS. This will be the last insufficient bump the pension ever gets. If you opt to stay in the pension and have more than a handful of years remaining, prepare to be sidelined from ever getting another increase to your retirement.

We are still too stupid to tie these things to inflation and/or IRS increases. No learning ever seems to occur.

Well Shaman, I’ll respond. We now have a TA with language to read and debate. If you would like to commence getting your panties in a wad, now would be a an acceptable time if you feel so inclined. I don’t wear panties so I’ll pass thank you. My boxers aren’t in a bunch either, but not seeing anything to be thrilled about at all. Seems like we accepted lower pay rates to get to a 12 year max pay rate from 15 trying to buy votes from those with 8-10 years on property. Gave up some QOL. Traded an A plan and B Plan for a B plan and a B- plan to get the A plan cap raised for some who choose that path. Not sure if the B- plan counts against the iRS limits ($66k this year) or is in addition to it. This approach to retirement bought some votes from the over 25 near retiree crowd and young chaps that fear an A fund. Mid career folks left with a big decision.

So we either accept a TA that missed for quite a few folks. Or vote no, clean house and hope it takes less than 2 years. Either way the company is more happy than us

That’s my first take.

That’s my first take.
What you fail to understand is that some of us were trying to elevate sentiment against exactly what we have now so that we wouldn't have to reboot the entire process. But your sentiment was consistent, "Wait and see and we must trust them" anything less is unacceptable. So now here we are with two bad options.

Your hot take on this couldn't be further from reality. This TA didn't "missed for quite a few folks" it missed the MEC's stated goals by a country mile and they still voted for it. Which was the source origin for this post. The leadership that you endorsed and defended brought us to where we are. So if the company is happy it isn't due to those of us trying to sound the alarm. Its due to the complacent apologist seemingly more concerned about the state of people's undergarments than the unenviable position we currently find ourselves in.

This is bad before the company plays games with the language to effect their needs I can only imagine what it will be after. If you aint outraged WTF is it gonna take buddy?!!
