We are literally gutting our scope and retirement in this TA, along with our work rules. The current contract is better than this TA that will save the company billions and outsource our jobs.

You really care what anyone else thinks? And other than a short post on DL, no one else is talking about our TA. Its just a TA vote Yes or No.[/QUOTE]

Wow…your panties sure do ball up quickly! I’ve literally been on one other forum and they’re talking about us and it ain’t Delta. Only one place I’m looking to go if/when I leave here…

And you’re right…it’s just a TA. As you say vote yes or no (it’ll be a F#CK NO…just in case that isn’t plainly clear). So I’m assuming you’ll sign off now and not return? Your words not mine…

The rest of the industry cares because most properties actually care about pattern bargaining. Our MEC/NC are ignorant of pattern bargaining.

Default Why not Delta pay rates per fleet type?

Why wouldn’t we get Delta rates for each airframe? Certainly the percentage raise should be at least as much. Amenable year raise, or retro equal to Delta/AA/UAL. Snap up clause for UAL, AA , definitely UPS. Retirement and scheduling a lost cause? It doesn’t have to be.

Not with how long it takes to change air frames here.

Isn't it great that the TA website uses the 757/767 numbers for Delta and AA to compare to the TA 767 rates and then uses the 737 numbers for the 757? Then on the 777/350 numbers they use some crazy CH assumptions that took a DART to get the (crazy) assumptions for. It is assumed that ALL vacation is assumed to be sold back when doing their fuzzy math too.

That entire website is a joke and complete con job. If FDX ALPA gets sued over this TA sell job, like happened in 2015, they completely deserve it. What a complete waste.

At the road show today they moved past presenting the facts of the TA and instead spent lots of time explaining why we should vote yes based purely on fear of how long it will take. This turd speaks for itself. Stop selling it.

I like how the Oak rep said that bidding an LCA was like getting a line check every day. How out of touch is this guy? It seemed like the block rep reports were too cut and paste with keying in on the same numbers. I was surprised the most junior rep was for this TA since his block could be affected the most. And what was with block 1, it seemed like the theme was, "Go on and take the money and run". But please, don't shoot a buck with buckshot. When people start using cliche's they don't have legit reasons for their position.

Default Sales job roadshow

Apparently people go into a road show as a hard no and come out 5 hours later a yes. A good TA sells itself. If you need to be re-educated there’s a problem. Does money have time value, yes, but that isn’t a reason to accept industry lagging rates. The MBCBP has dollars going in but we don’t know how much will come back out.

Delta plus 1%, and a snap up for UPS! I’m willing to wait. Let’s get this done before the presidential election and the economy may stay fairly good.

They can’t do a direct 757 to 757 pay rate comparison because it would show that FedEx 757 pay rates are not even close to ‘Industry Standard’ rates, so instead they use 737 pay rates and think no one will notice. It’s embarrassing.

Everyone on property needs to read TC’s (Block 2 rep) message on the TA site before they cast their vote.
