After this TA, why would a new hire want to come here?
Our retirement will be on par with Pax airlines but with no CoC. Student lines are a major concession and are non industry standard. SUB is still a thing and non industry standard.
No profit sharing.
Loss of 60% of our day flying with the postal contract renegotiation next year.
Memphis continues to slide into a worsening hellish landscape of crime and wreckless driving.
Maybe 777 flying is attractive enough to some to risk being a domestic bro doing night hub turns or sitting reserve in the most dangerous city in America?

FedEx has never thought ahead as far as pilots go. They hire too many, they hire too few, they're always behind the curve. But right now it appears that they aren't thinking about attracting new hires, they're thinking about how to get rid of them. If they make things look bad enough, people will leave and they have to put out less furlough pay.

Not true. But nice try. If this place sucks so much, there are tons of opportunities out there.

It was mentioned at some point, once, and only once.
USPS wants to truck more, though there has been a trucker shortage. So we’ll see how users of USPS like slower service for the same price. Could push more business to FedEx and UPS.

Someone did the math not too long ago - we're still a significant amount of block hours away from 4a2b, let alone 2c. But at the latest TA roadshow, ALPA conveniently skipped over 2b (BLG reduction) and went straight to 2c (furlough) without showing any numbers. Selling the TA purely on fear. Unsat

[QUOTE=Stan446;3662964]*sigh* The usual broken record from a broken old FedEx pilot…if you don’t like it leave. How about something new like let’s make it a better place for everyone? You really do need to go away but I’m sure you’re hoping age 67 passes so you can make all of your FOs miserable for at least two more years.

Here here. There are some new faces in the ranks who are willing to stand up for what they're worth. Don't worry Stockholm syndrome sufferers, we will bring you a better contract soon enough.
