UA MEC released the AIP "in the interest of transparency"
Retro of 4/4/14/14% for past 4-ish years.
Delta plus - with snap-ups
We made BILLIONS while they sat at home during those years being paid with tax dollars. They are actually getting retro on taxpayer bailout money. We, on the other hand, are staring down the barrel of paying from our W-2 because Raj and company have decided to DRIVE in a different direction and realized that THEY overstaffed the airline (which we all knew at the time).
Do we look stupid yet?
Anyone ready for a fight?

Maybe "Expectation Manager-in-Chief" PM will see this and chug a nice 6.9 oz cup of that fine AOC Roar coffee and WAKE THE EFF UP.
The only way this is industry leading is compared to the LCC's at this point. "Oh but we have the best pension, bar none".
Good for United, hope they get it. And hope SW gets something good soon too. Pattern bargaining is a thing, believe it or not Pat.
NO IS THE TIME!!!!

Way to go UNITED!!!!
This POS needs to go down in flames. Everyone I've flown w for the last week is not happy at all. Keep the pressure up! Hopefully by the end of the month, we will give Fedex the 2 finger Johnny Cash Salute!

Here's another nugget from their AIP that is applicable to us:
They are going to offer unfilled captain vacancies (which they have quite a few of) to new-hires.
We are going to offer 48 hr guarantees.
If I had less than 10 years here I would be in a full mad-dash to get to the front of the line.

United pilots join Delta & SWA pilots in showing it can be done.

Yep, Old guys get blamed for everything. Funny how all the young guys blaming us for ****ty contracts are the same ones that were kissing our asses for recommendations.
We also got blamed for doing all the extra flying the last few years hurting negotiations. I always had an FO for all my flights. Never had a flight cancellation because of a lack of FO’s. Plenty were saying how much drop for draft they were doing too.
if you don’t like the TA probably best to look in the mirror first. If TA gets turned down better be ready for some real pain. Not just turning down AVA or draft.

The last AIP was announced May 13, 2022. United has a manning shortage and travel demand is high. If you think that we will have a TA next June, I think you are spending too much time at Venice Beach.

13, 2022. They couldn’t start renegotiation until the TA was formally rejected, and a new NC put into place. From rejection to announcing this TA was 9 months
Peak is coming and UPS/Post Office salesman are always on the prowl.
