I really appreciate the old guys who are voting for their worth. But plenty on JF are being incredibly condescending.

Yes, you are correct, I can think of a couple of them in particular.

I am old, 2.5 years to go. Hard no, not going to change my mind.

We also got blamed for doing all the extra flying the last few years hurting negotiations. I always had an FO for all my flights. Never had a flight cancellation because of a lack of FO’s. Plenty were saying how much drop for draft they were doing too.

if you don’t like the TA probably best to look in the mirror first. If TA gets turned down better be ready for some real pain. Not just turning down AVA or draft.
Well, I'm an old guy, and one FO of many that didn't COVID as an excuse to pad their bank accounts, normalizing the b.s. we all had to put up with as a result. And, if the UA AIP is what "real pain" looks like, sign me up. I blame everyone who put their checkbook ahead of the good of the team, and continues to do so. But, that's just me. I am almost certainly going to retire under the next contract, and I am voting NO. After the UA AIP I can't fathom anyone voting for the insulting POS we were given.

We will have a TA well before that, I'm betting. If not, it is worth the wait to not destroy our future with this fear mongering, POS, insulting crap we are being sold.

The fact I’ve met a few senior pilots who could retire on this TA admit they are hard no’s, gives me hope this TA doesn’t pass.

Thanks for your support.

This UAL AIP negates the entire argument of 2-3 years for a TA. No one seems to ask the question, what if cargo demand picks up after we vote this in? How dumb would we feel?

I think the example of the United pilots rejection of TA1 with a 94% NO shows the power of group resolve.

If we can shut this down with 80% NO, we could potentially have TA2 within a year.

ReGroup (ReUnify)
ReSurvey
ReNegotiate

Regardless of the percentage, a collective NO vote doesn’t mean we aren’t willing to negotiate, rather it just means the company will better understand the collective position of a pilot group who authorized a strike vote by 99%. That authorization still stands. Now let’s talk

How about we keep our next TA simple and just go after these payrates. We don't need to subsidize a retirement plan with pay and scheduling concessions. Keep our retirement as is and PAY US THE MONEY.
