It’s precisely why they will always agree to any “fly until you die” incentives, especially those which reward pilots for NOT using all their sick bank or all their vacation. 😉😉
agreed... sorry i missed your point there too.

Fair point.

That being said, we are relieved to have you with us in unity, and several of the more senior guys I've flown with lately are convincing me that they are no votes too, so I'm thinking/hoping it's just a vocal minority among the "old guys."

Regardless. I'm a no vote for many reasons, and one of them is the fact that we left behind tons of guys who retired since amendable date. I will be a no vote on the next one for the same reason if we don't get that fixed.

Hopefully this TA is rejected and all those in union leadership that think that way will be recalled. We deserve better from our union and from the company. The time to show our resolve is now.

I’ve flown with you in two different fleets. You’re a team player and you haven’t changed one bit. You have shown concern for those before you and those after you since I’ve known you. No matter what happens with this vote, you’re a gentleman and this crew force is fortunate to have you.

*we may not always agree on everything but I know the above words to be true.

If I were sitting at the table and the question came up "what are you willing to give?", my answer would be "pilot services" - every time.

This UAL TA will continue to do the work that Delta and AA has done.

Let us vote down this TA in 9 days. The MEC message is clear you can change your vote before it closes. Let us listen to their advice!

maybe the MEC/NC wants to save face and we are the ones who need to announce the go around to tower. They may be mad now but they get another attempt at a stable approach to an industry leading contact. We have the gas, let us go around!

as you ponder your change to NO

here are few things to reflect on

-is UPS possible strike action not leverage?
-is the value of zero dollars for 300 retirees since amenable date (who will see no A plan improvements) the appropriate valuation?
-is being part of the logistic team that assisted the world in their darkest CoVID hour not leverage?
-is the soft landing from the apocalyptic recession scenarios not leverage?
-are the companies with progressive or industry leading TA/contracts not leverage?
-there are many leaders emerging from our ranks who are ready for this challenge when this TA is voted down

we are asking for all NOs to the dance floor right now!

Let us get this TA 2.0 rally started right!

what time is it! NO is the time!

Thank you. I really appreciate it. It's ok not to agree on everything, as long as we are cordial and professional, and, above all, safe in the cockpit.

Oh, and I have no idea who you are, but I really appreciate your kind words.

Wasn’t their first offer 1.5 B? It came back at 10!
