I mean seriously, how are we going to establish a floor with this group where we just don't throw out any theory possible and any explanation is shot down as fake news.
We are spiraling, not sure if anyone else notices. There's calls to get rid of ALPA, we are going to lose this war if we don't let those with level headed thinking lead.

Everybody would like more money.. This is reality.. And while we watch all the antics from a bunch a big mouths ripping on years of hard work. Let’s see what the “No’” produce in the next 2-3 years, still on 2015 wages.. Which by the way, is where we would be, negotiating the next contract ..

“Overnight we received inquiries concerning extra flying, which appeared in Open Time yesterday. We engaged management this morning. They advised that the extra flying was associated with very recent customer demand, particularly in Asia. The demand manifested after the snapshot for the construction of secondary lines. Otherwise, it would have been “known flying” and included in the build process.
Some have suggested via social media that this extra flying was evidence of an aborted wet lease scheme. There is no validity to that information. Please take it as an example of the extreme measures being undertaken by some to create chaos. Such behavior is inconsistent with the ALPA Code of Ethics. Whatever the purpose, the disservice is to you.
There was a valid question here about “known flying,” which has been answered to our satisfaction. We appreciate those who raised it. Should the customer demand that led to this extra flying solidify, we should expect to see it in our September bid period packages.”
Volume is drying up. Loads are down. Maybe going into 4.A.2… If we don’t approve the TA, maybe they might furlough. Oh wait!

Don't you love it when they bring up the ALPA Code of Ethics, after they played fuzzy math games with compensation and total worth of the TA to try to sell it to us?

Take that message as you will.
We suddenly went from a horrible environment to so much demand from Asia that we’re scrambling to meet it?
If they want to explain it away, it would’ve helped to explain that whole officer stock trade freeze business that just happened to coincide with the surprise volume that just happened to show up after construction.
It may all be innocent, but this is the level of trust that the company and the association have earned at this point - that’s the real overarching issue here.
I’m not sure how either entity can regain the trust of the crew force - and I’m not convinced that either one cares to.
The company and the MEC are like a spouse that was caught cheating yet they are indignant that you wouldn’t just trust them.
“Don’t trust - just verify “

you mean that condescending trash email? The union has lost touch with the pilots. The TA proved that. They need to get out of the way and let a new set of folks represent us. ALPA sucks too! Join up with UPS union in the long term!
