I can certainly understand why someone retiring soon wanted this TA. What I can’t understand is how that type of person cannot empathize with those who voted against it.

Do you think you’re helping? The TA was a disappointment for anyone who wanted more than a pension boost. If you can’t understand why it was voted down then YOU are part of the problem.

Delta +1. Zero concessions. Open only scope, pay, and retirement if that's the only way to get there in a reasonable period of time. The pilots can continue to live with the many work rules they hate and the company can do the same.
(Dealing with scope is an assumption. Without a job what does any of it matter?)

This won't be my last contract here. Seems like you are angry that you won't be a 2 year WB captain. Guess you should have stayed off of the crack when it was available.

The TA was voted down man. Accept that 57% (more if you include probation) of the pilots you fly with didn’t think it met expectations. No amount of whining or shaming will change that. Perhaps if you want a deal soon your focus should be on how to make the next TA more palatable for your fellow pilots rather than being combative.
