[QUOTE=Dave Behnke;3733634]I'm technologically challenged. Were the names and numbers not available via the whatsapp SM group? Honest question.

Did you ever wonder why that meeting was called for that day? The day after 25% of our crew force had no representation. Could it be because the "Remove Pat May at all cost crowd" could only conduct their agenda of union business when everyone wasn't available. In stead of working with the other block reps and trying to chang minds and opinions they just waited until not everyone was available so they can ram down our throats whatever they wanted and when it didn't go as they had planned they got butt hurt and blamed half of our reps for not showing up. Pathetic

Did you ever wonder how we scheduled continuing negotiations without input from the LEC 26 reps for the last three weeks? You didn’t complain about their voice being silenced then. What changed? Hmm…
The special meeting was perfectly in line with the bylaws. Not everyone has to attend and not every council is always seat filled. People flow in and people flow out. But to intentionally subvert the system is egregious and not living up to your pledge to represent your voters. Or as you would say, PATHETIC!
I don’t usually say stuff like that, so don’t think I’m getting too worked up about this. I still hope we get the contract that you deserve. Politics is politics. Moving forward with what we got. C’est la vie.

I hope we get the contract we all deserve, I voted no on TA1, I'm just not ready to flush Pat May without another option. I have sent in Darts asking who has volunteered and have received nothing back. I don't think anybody wants the job. Odell has said if you know of anyone please forward their names.

I am sure no one wants that job. Maybe we should stop using pilots to negotiate with lawyers who specialize in negotiations. How about we hire our own team of lawyers with pilots as advisors.

ALPA National legal clearly shut that down in the email chain that was momentarily posted on JF. Ain’t gonna happen.

Actually, that's not true. Under the LMRDA, there can be no restriction on the communication a local union representative has with their constituents. As a matter of fact, the other way around, interfering with a representative's communication is a sure way to get into really serious trouble with the Department of Labor.
Now is it good sense to run it through the lawyers, probably, but required? No.
