Believe it or not, there are a few pilots that don't live and work in MEM. I know you MEM guys don't know about life outside the main hub, so no worries.

The hits keep coming. If you are a United Airlines commuter, be aware that they decided this year not to invite FedEx pilots into their "invitation only" Global Services status. It's not just a FedEx thing, but at least 6 long term Global Services FedEx pilots I'm aware of did not requalify this year despite spending over 6 figures on United airfare in 2023. Plan accordingly for 2024. To my knowledge, American and Delta still appreciate FedEx money. United...not so much.

So, to be clear, because you didn't get invited back into an invitation-only stats, you are going to wage your own little proxy war on your fellow ALPA brothers and sisters who had absolutely nothing to do with this as a way to "show them how tough you are?" Thank god I don't rely on people like you for my commute. Nothing like little Napolean starting a war because Josephine did him wrong.

He did and he's right. One guy posting like this is a TA or FedEx concession but is something else that affects a small group of FX pilots. So can the OP not fly United First or Business class anymore, he still can. He doesn't get GS invitation, waahhh. The pax carriers change their perks. We used to not get miles on most airlines and now we do.

Good luck with that (the suggested concept that you can book tickets in higher cost fare classes, not to be confused with class of service), it might be a good idea to read the CBA now and then as it is very specific in how we can book tickets. This "practice" is sure to bite someone, if not already, sooner than later.

Weird that you would even consider that as an option. United commuters don’t create United policy.
We have a choice on who we deadhead on. I spent well over $100k deadheading on United last year. It’s a free market. If they don’t want my money I’ll fly on someone else. But this isn’t the first time one of the legacy airlines has tried to treat FedEx pilots as second class citizens. They typically reconsider when it becomes apparent it will cost them money. Hopefully this will be another example of that.

I don't live in Memphis. Hopefully I will, one day, be OAK based and DH'ing all over Tarnation. If I am not invited to GS it will be alright. It is a pretty awful company to be giving money to anyway, imho.
