Ever heard of interline agreements ? It is the reason that FedEx employees can get reduced rate/non revenue tickets on the airlines. FedEx can only reciprocate via the discount.

I seriously doubt when the negotiations started with the majors on ship rates they had the good will to help those pilots out with a discount on express services but that's just me.

it’s all tit for tat. Why do we get to zed fare why are there any benefits? Maybe we should all pay full price for everything and we can all be a**holes all the time. That’s the way we seem to want to go anyway.
